Description

The leader of this team is responsible for delivering on enterprise level Web based software applications.  Our client is seeking leader experience leading teams of developers, architects, product managers and product owners and senior stakeholders within a SAFe (scaled agile framework environment). It is important for them to be able to deliver high performance software on web applications at the enterprise level within an array of different business domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performance teams; create mission and purpose for team members.
• Empower root cause analysis, and ‘solution-focused-problem-solving.’
• Remove barriers for your high performing engineers and other team members.
• Facilitate, mentor and coach Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• 10 years + in technology teams with increasing experience in engineering management
• Strong understanding of cloud-based software with extremely high-volume traffic daily (application down time is not an option)
• Deep experience at the enterprise level with full-stack software development in an using J2EE (Java) environment with JavaScript, Angular/React or similar technologies
• Vast experience with Scaled Agile (e.g. SAFe), Scrum, Lean quality, test automation, continuous delivery or similar Agile at scale methodologies

Preferred Skills

• hands-on software development experience with the following or similar technologies: Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, RabbitMQ or Active MQ,
